A water-based BHA serum for blemish-prone and oily skin. Salicylic Acid 2% Solution targets congested pores, blackheads and surface blemishes by exfoliating inside the pore lining to help clear the mixture of oil and dead skin cells that causes congestion. The 30ml bottle is designed for targeted or all-over use in an evening routine.

Key Ingredients

• Salicylic Acid – 2%: A beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that is oil-soluble, allowing it to penetrate inside pores. Exfoliates the pore lining to reduce congestion, blackheads and surface blemishes. Also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm redness around spots.
• Saccharide Isomerate: A hydrating ingredient derived from natural sugars, included to support skin comfort during acid use.

How to Use

Apply once daily in the evening. Use a small amount directly to blemishes or congested areas, or apply a thin layer all over the face if treating general congestion. Do not rinse off. Follow with a moisturiser.

If you are new to acids, consider applying every other evening at first, then increase to daily use if well tolerated.

Precautions

• Do not use on sensitive or compromised skin until it is well accustomed to active ingredients.
• Do not use on the same evening as other exfoliating acids (AHAs or BHAs) or retinoids.
• Always apply sunscreen in the morning — exfoliating acids increase photosensitivity.
• Avoid the eye area.
• Patch test before first use.
• For external use only. If irritation occurs, reduce frequency or discontinue use.

Pairs Well With

• Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% — use Niacinamide in the morning and Salicylic Acid in the evening, or on alternate evenings
• Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA — apply as a moisturising final step after this serum
• Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 — can be layered before this serum for added hydration

Do not combine with AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution in the same evening — avoid using two exfoliating acid products on the same night.
