The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

A strong chemical exfoliating treatment for experienced users. This water-based solution combines glycolic acid and lactic acid (AHAs) with salicylic acid (BHA) at concentrations that provide deep exfoliation of the skin’s surface. Use occasionally, not daily. Available in 30ml.

Key Ingredients

• Glycolic Acid + Lactic Acid (total AHA 30%): Water-soluble acids that exfoliate dead skin cells from the surface, targeting uneven texture, dullness and congestion.
• Salicylic Acid (BHA 2%): An oil-soluble acid that penetrates pores to address congestion and blemishes.
• Tasmanian Pepperberry: Included to help reduce sensitivity that can be associated with acid use.

How to Use

Apply to a dry face for no more than 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use a maximum of twice per week. This is a rinse-off treatment — do not leave on longer than directed and do not use more frequently than recommended.

Precautions

• Not suitable for beginners or sensitive skin. Only use once your skin is accustomed to lower-strength active ingredients.
• Do not use on eczema-prone, broken or compromised skin.
• Do not combine with other exfoliating acids, retinoids or Vitamin C on the same day.
• Always apply sunscreen the morning after use — AHAs increase photosensitivity.
• Do not apply to the neck, chest or body.
• Keep away from the eye area.
• Patch test before first use.

Pairs Well With

• Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA — apply immediately after rinsing to support the skin barrier
• Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 — apply after rinsing on the same evening for hydration

Do not combine with Niacinamide, retinoids or other acids on the same day of use.
